Our portable mass spectrometer arrived safely at the Center for Advanced Marine Core Research of Kochi University hosting one of the IODP core repositories . Sunday Feb. 12th was dedicated to some sightseeing.
For our first international project the miniRUEDI underwent the custom procedures at Zurich Airport and it is now ready to fly to Japan!
Today we started the first gas sampling campaign planned in 2022 at the HotBENT experiment (Grimsel Test Site). For this purpose, Entracers prepared additional samplers that will be available for future projects of our customers.
The first miniRUEDI of Entracers is ready to perform gas measurements for the GAST experiment at the Grimsel Test Site. We are looking forward to the developments of this project managed by Nagra!
New gas samples were collected by Entracers from the Full-scale Emplacement (FE) experiment on Nov. 11th-12th, 2021. This was the first sampling planned for Phase 27 of the Mont Terri Project.

On Oct. 28th 2021 Entracers collected new samples at the HotBENT experiment at the Grimsel Test Site that will provide the data basis to interpret future changes in the gas composition within the drift. After the sampling we enjoyed the nice autumn weather on the way back to Zurich.
After the revision of one of the valves of the gas circulation system at the HotBENT experiment, on Sept. 16th 2021 the gas monitoring of all sampling ports within the drift was launched. This will allow observation of possible changes in the gas composition even during the early stages of the experiment.
On Jun. 24th/25th 2021 Entracers performed the first gas sampling in the HotBENT experiment at the Grimsel Test Site.
Between April 8th and April 9th 2021 Entracers GmbH collected gas samples from the Full-scale Emplacement (FE) experiment located in the Mont Terri Underground Rock Laboratory.
Entracers GmbH had the opportunity to work on the gas monitoring of the HotBENT experiment at the Grimsel Test Site managed by Nagra. A few impressions can be found below.
